Eleanor Kennedy & Andrew J. Parks | John W. Kennedy |
O Lethe, precious river,
Come, soak my hard liver,
And drown my old mem’ry clean.
When you drink a bottle
You forget a lottle
Till you turn green.
Because the more you drink,
And the less you think,
The more ghosts you see.
Ghosts, why won't you stop bothering me?
I know that I’m in trouble
When I'm seeing double.
But I can forget it when I just wet it down.
With enough wine my cares I'll happily (Hic!) drown.
